Finally, after what feels like months of dark, grey, coldness, it seems that spring has finally sprung. And that signals the chance to get out in the garden with the kids and take a few photos. The light was beautiful on Sunday, so we made the most if it.

A quick nip down to the veg patch, and we discovered that our purple sprouting broccoli, that failed to sprout or be purple last year, has actually done both over the winter. And very pretty it looks too:

We’ve also got the first few crocuses and tulips coming up – definitely good to have some colour back in the garden again, although I’m not sure how well they will survive the frosts we’re having this week.
